LÖSEV – Laughing Switch

In television and radio, the “Laugh Track” is a common tool to signal humor. We decided to hijack this convention and replace traditional, generic laugh tracks with the real, infectious laughter of children fighting leukemia.

We recorded the children during a day of games and fun organized by LÖSEV. These recordings were then distributed to Turkey’s most popular radio broadcasters, who used them as sound effects during their live shows. Listeners were invited to laugh along with the children and show their support by sending a simple “smiley face” emoji via SMS to a donation line.
